The Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc. (AMPS) was formed in July 1974.
This Society was derived from breeding down to reduce the size of the known pony and horse breeds refining height and confirmation.
Size is a very important requirement so to be eligible for AMPS registry, Ponies must not exceed 87 centimeters but once registered if they go over 87cm they then maybe eligible for the Appendix section of our registry as long as again do not exceed 91.5cm

Are now due and payable on 1stAugust if not paid by this date members will incur a late fee of $33 incl GST. If Membership fees are not paid by 1st November, the membership will lapse and a new application for Membership form will have to be submitted to the National Committee for approval
